7 Habits of Highly Effective people by Stephen R. Covey

Over 30 million copy of this boos has been sold. It is the best book among the category called “Personal Development”. I will Explain some of those habits very shortly.

1. Be Proactive

Are you ok with following others order or you take your own decision. You should learn to make your own decision wisely. Like if your friends want to smoke, what should you do? You can either think that you should do it as your friends are dong it or you can take your own decision that you should never do it as it is harmful for you. if you can convince yourself and depend on your own decision then this ok. But if you fail to this then you should think about yourself again.

2. Begin with the end in mind

You must have a clear idea about what will be the result of your deeds. If you don’t know what you are doing then you have a good chance to fail. But if you have at least a idea, you have a good chance success or at least some important information about what you doing.

3. Put first thing first

If you want real success then you should not neglect your main work. I mean you should always focus on the main work. Always complete it and then enjoy or do whatever you want to do. This is a open secret but most of the time we don’t want to follow it. But seriously this is the most powerful key to success.

4. Think win-win

Always remember, if you think you will win leaving someone behind then there is a good chance that it may not be the best idea. there are many opportunity to make a good strategy.

5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood

You want to teach someone then you should learn first.

6. Synergize

You can win alone but you can success together

7. Sharpen the saw

Working 1 day on a proper plan is better than working 3 days on a planless project.

8. Find your own voice and help others to do so.

Find your own talent and then help others to do so.

How many of those habits have in you?
